How to request account deletion

SafePDF provides an account deletion option directly within the app.

To delete your SafePDF account:

1. Open the SafePDF app.

2. Go to Settings.

3. Open Account.

4. Select Delete Account.

5. Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm the deletion.

Once the deletion is confirmed, your account and associated account information will be deleted in accordance with our data retention practices.

Data that will be deleted

When you delete your SafePDF account, we will delete the account information associated with your account, including, where applicable:

• Email address

• User ID

• Name and profile information

• Phone number

• Profile/avatar information

• Account type and role

• Organization information associated with your account

• Account status and onboarding information

• Subscription-related account information
  

Your PDF files and documents

SafePDF processes PDF files and documents locally on your device. Your PDF files are not uploaded to SafePDF's servers for PDF processing.

Files, folders, bookmarks, and other documents stored locally on your device are not deleted from your device when you delete your SafePDF account. You can delete these files separately from within the app or from your device.

Data retention

We do not retain your account information after a completed account deletion request, except where retention is required by applicable law or necessary for legitimate legal obligations.
