safePDF — Privacy Policy

At safePDF, we believe your documents should remain under your control. This Privacy Policy explains how ZANVIO LABS PRIVATE LIMITED (“Zanvio Labs”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the safePDF mobile application (“App”) and related Services.

1. Our Core Privacy Commitment Your PDFs stay on your device. Under the current version of safePDF: • • • • • • • PDF files are processed 100% on your device. PDF files are not uploaded to safePDF servers. We do not store your PDFs in cloud storage. We do not synchronize your PDFs to our servers. We do not use your PDFs to train AI models. safePDF currently has no AI document-processing features. safePDF currently does not display advertisements. Your documents remain on your device and are subject to your device's own storage, security, and deletion controls.

2. Information We Collect Although your PDF files remain on your device, safePDF may collect limited information necessary to provide account and application functionality.

A. Account Information safePDF currently provides account functionality. Depending on the authentication method available, we may collect information such as: • • • • • Email address; Name, where provided; Account identifier; Authentication information; and Other information necessary to maintain your account. We may introduce mobile-number OTP authentication in the future. If this functionality is introduced, we may collect your mobile number for authentication and account-security purposes.

B. PDF and Document Files safePDF requires access to files that you explicitly select or create using the App. Your PDF files are currently processed entirely on your device. We do not upload your PDFs to our servers for processing, storage, synchronization, analytics, advertising, or AI processing.

C. Device Information safePDF may access limited technical information required for the App to function, such as: • • • • • • Device model; Android version; App version; Device configuration; Language and regional settings; and Other technical information made available by the Android operating system where necessary for functionality.

D. Customer Support Information If you contact us, we may receive the information you voluntarily provide, such as your email address, name, device information, screenshots, and description of the problem.

3. Permissions safePDF may request permissions depending on the features you use. Files and Photos Used to allow you to select, open, edit, save, export, and manage documents and images. Camera If scanning functionality is available, camera access may be used to capture documents. Notifications If notification functionality is enabled, notification permission may be used to send relevant servicerelated notifications. You can revoke permissions through your Android device settings.

4. How We Use Your Information We may use information to: • Create and maintain your safePDF account; • • • • • • • Provide application functionality; Provide customer support; Protect accounts and prevent unauthorized access; Detect security issues and abuse; Improve application reliability; Comply with applicable laws; and Communicate important information regarding the Services. We do not sell your personal information.

5. How We Handle Your PDFs This is an important part of safePDF's privacy model. When you select a PDF or other document: The file is processed on your device. safePDF does not currently upload the document to our servers. Therefore, we do not maintain a server-side copy of your PDF merely because you opened or edited it using safePDF. If you share or export a document using another application or service from your device, that sharing is controlled by you and may be subject to the privacy policy of the application or service you choose.

6. No AI Processing safePDF currently does not provide AI-powered document-processing functionality. Your PDFs are therefore not submitted to AI providers for analysis or processing. If AI functionality is introduced in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide appropriate disclosures before such functionality is implemented.

7. Analytics and Crash Reporting The current version of safePDF does not use Firebase Analytics or Firebase Crashlytics. If analytics, crash reporting, or similar third-party services are introduced in a future version, this Privacy Policy and applicable Google Play data disclosures will be updated to describe the relevant data practices.

8. Advertising safePDF currently does not display advertisements.If advertising is introduced in a future version, this Privacy Policy and applicable Google Play data disclosures will be updated to describe the relevant data collection and sharing practices.

9. Cloud Storage and Synchronization safePDF currently does not provide cloud storage or document synchronization. Your PDF documents are therefore not automatically uploaded to a safePDF cloud account. If cloud storage or synchronization is introduced in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy to explain how documents are stored, processed, retained, and deleted.

10. Data Security We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, loss, or destruction. Your PDFs benefit from the fact that they are processed locally on your device under the current App architecture. However, no electronic system or method of storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining appropriate security on your device, including device locks and other security mechanisms provided by your operating system.

11. Data Retention PDFs Because PDF files are processed locally, safePDF does not retain server-side copies of your PDFs. Documents remain subject to the storage and deletion controls of your device. Account Information We may retain account information for as long as necessary to maintain your account, provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and enforce our agreements.

12. Account and Data Deletion safePDF provides users with the ability to delete their account. You may use the account deletion option available within the App to submit your deletion request. You may also contact us at: info@zanviolabs.in
When an account is deleted, we will delete or anonymize personal information associated with the account where required and technically feasible, subject to information that we are legally required or permitted to retain. Because your PDFs are stored and processed locally, deleting your safePDF account does not delete PDFs stored on your device. You are responsible for deleting local documents from your device if you no longer want them.

13. Children's Privacy safePDF is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us without appropriate authorization, please contact us so that we can investigate.

14. Your Privacy Rights Subject to applicable law, you may have rights to: • Request access to personal information; Request correction of inaccurate information; Request deletion of personal information; Withdraw consent where applicable; Request information about how your personal information is processed; and Raise a complaint regarding our handling of personal information. 15. Changes to this Privacy Policy Our Services may evolve over time. If we introduce new functionality that materially changes how personal information or documents are handled—for example, cloud storage, analytics, advertising, AI processing, or online document processing—we will update this Privacy Policy accordingly. The updated policy will include a revised “Last Updated” date.
